Calmax provides a complete house range of construction civils services based in the Western Isles, encompassing house-building development, Commercial Projects, Civil Engineering works including pipe laying and essential groundworks as well as Plumbing, Heating, Electrical, Maintenance, Drain clearance repairs. Mains Service works, we are approved framework contractors for Scottish Water, SSE, Scotia Gas Networks, BT and are authorised to carry out underground pipework installations and repairs, mains water pipeworks and repairs, surface water drainage and soakaways.

CalMax Construction Ltd, was established on 8th October 1999 and are based at 1, Blackwater, Newmarket, Isle of Lewis. CalMax Construction Ltd currently employs over 55 people and is one of the larger employers in the Western Isles and we carry many trades.
Over the last 10 years we have employed apprentices of all trades who have successfully completed their training. CalMax Construction Ltd have worked hard over the years to build up a good reputation for quality workmanship, a satisfied customer base and employees who enjoy very good terms and conditions of employment. CCTV Camera Survey Service for surveying below ground drainage. The surveys are undertaken by trained operatives and the completed survey is compiled into a report detailing the findings of the survey and making recommendations of the repairs required.

CalMax Civils Ltd are Civil Engineering arm of the group. We undertake capital and maintenance works for all the main Utilities companies on a programmes and reactive basis including laying new water mains or cables, site works and excavations.
